Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a resident of West Bengal.
  • Belong to a minority community as recognized by the state.
  • Study in a recognized institution in India.
  • Meet the income and academic requirements.

Income Criteria

  • Annual family income must be below ₹2.5 lakhs.
  • Income proof is mandatory.

  • Must be issued by BDO, SDO, or District Magistrate.
  • Must mention:
    • Income clearly
    • Family members
    • Date of issue and office stamp

  • Valid for 6 months.
  • Should be recent and original.
  • PDF or JPEG format preferred for upload.

Application Procedure

  1. Select “New Registration” under the Aikyashree Scheme.
  2. Fill in personal, academic, and bank details.
  3. Upload all required documents.
  4. Submit and print confirmation copy.

Eligibility for Renewal

  • You must have scored at least 50% marks in your last final examination.
  • You must be promoted to the next academic class.
  • Your family income must still be within the eligible income limit.

Payment & Disbursement

  • Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) to student’s account.

When is Scholarship Released?

  • Within 3–4 months after final submission and verification.

Note: In some cases, it is seen that the money arrives within this time, but in many cases, it is seen that the money is received outside this time, that is, even after the time has passed. So, request all of you to please follow the official website.
